Support of Vulnerable People

Nutrition

LEDO recognises the importance of nutrition, particularly for vulnerable groups. Various projects aim to enhance access to nutritious food for children, the elderly, and the sick.

Some of the projects under this pillar are:

  • Vulnerable children support program currently with 100 children from the most vulnerable in the community including orphans  get a weekly food package.
  • Support to the old and sick – Currently supporting 15 sick and elderly who need extra food so that they are able to take their medicines.
  • Ad hoc food distribution in times of drought and famine.

 

 

Samaritan

LEDO’s Samaritan program goes beyond paying medical bills for sick and poor people who are unable to settle their medical bills in the local medical facilities like AIC Centre, Lopiding Sub-District Hospital among others, to supporting special cases, including disabled children, to access medical services and education.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Evangelism

LEDO supports evangelism through various initiatives such as radio evangelism, village evangelism, showing of Jesus Film, Seminars and conferences, spreading hope and positivity. Through evangelism people give their lives to Jesus.
