Improved Livelihoods

Skill for Life

Empowering youth with technical, life, and soft skills, Skill For Life equips individuals with tools for a sustainable livelihood. Our Skill Grow students attend lessons for three months and then proceed for one month practicals. The areas of learning are from Technical Skills, Life skills and Soft skills. Some of the Skill Grow projects we offer are: Masonry, Phone repair, Welding, Motorbike repair, Poultry farming, Computer repair,Tailoring,Plumbing , Electricity and Hair dressing.

 

Humanitarian Intervention

During times of crisis, LEDO steps in with relief support to community members. From providing food to essential non-food items, our humanitarian interventions aim to alleviate the impact of droughts and catastrophes. The interventions always target all the areas covered by LEDO that is Lokichoggio, Nanam and Song’ot wards in Lokichoggio Sub County.

Tailoring

LEDO’s Tailoring project aims to train community members in basic tailoring skills. This program not only contributes to skill development but also serves the community by making clothes for vulnerable children and others.
