About LEDO
Welcome to Lokichoggio Emuriakin Development Organization (LEDO), where our commitment to community development is rooted in transformative initiatives. Since our establishment as a Community Base Organization (C.B.O) in 2011, LEDO has been dedicated to empowering the Lokichoggio community through education, improved livelihoods, sanitation and health, gender equality, support for vulnerable people, enhancement of democracy, and non- violence & peace initiatives.

Education
Nurturing young minds through Hannah Emuriakin Primary School and supporting students through the Mapendo Student Program.
Improved Livelihoods
Empowering youth with Skill For Life and providing humanitarian intervention during crises.
Sanitation & Health
Ensuring clean water through the Water/ Wash Program and constructing latrines to improve hygiene.
Gender Equality
Addressing menstrual health through the Cup Project.
Support of vulnerable people
Providing nutrition and support through initiatives like Samaritan.

SOCIAL ENTERPRISES
LEDO has a component of the income generating activities. They include HE school, Poultry, farming, workshop Loki KEA desk. All these IGA generate income to the organization to supplement what is received from the donors.
